El Corte Inglés Travel launches a proposal for accessible tourism
El Corte Inglés Travel incorporates to its range of services an innovative proposal of accessible tourism, thus advancing in its commitment as a responsible company. To this end, it has signed an agreement with TUR4all Travel, a tour operator of the IMPULSA IGUALDAD, with more than 20 years of experience developing inclusive and accessible travel. This agreement reinforces Viajes El Corte Inglés’ commitment to reducing barriers in tourism, so that all travelers, including those with accessibility needs, can travel under the same conditions.
To achieve this goal, Viajes El Corte Inglés has set up a hotline for customers with disabilities (91 324 72 52), trained personal travel advisors and selected vacation agencies in more than 13 territories to offer this service. This comprehensive and personalized approach ensures a travel experience tailored to the needs of customers with special needs, and is supported by a team of more than 100 professionals specialized in accessible tourism.
2ª edición del ASG Champion Team
This collaboration was announced yesterday, in the context of the second ‘ASG Champion Team‘ meeting, aimed at internal staff of Viajes El Corte Inglés and focused on raising awareness of the company’s Sustainability Master Plan. This was made clear by the president of IMPULSA IGUALDAD, Francisco Sardón, who was also accompanied by the Sustainability directors of Iberia, Ilunion and PortAventura World, the president of the Spanish Sports Federation for people with Cerebral Palsy (FEDPC) and the coordinator of the organization of sports events for people with disabilities at El Corte Inglés Travel.
This commitment complements the ongoing projects that the company is implementing in its physical points of sale and digital platforms, with the aim of facilitating access to Viajes El Corte Inglés services for all customers. In addition, the company has strengthened its focus on sustainability by implementing policies for promotional gifts that include the participation of people with disabilities in their preparation.
Within this framework, El Corte Inglés Travel reinforces its commitment to tourism for all, adopting strategies aimed at facilitating universal access and enriching the tourist experience for all its customers.
